Revisiting Terminal 21 Mall (Asok), Bangkok
Location: Terminal 21 Mall, Asok, Bangkok, Thailand
Website: Terminal 21 Mall
Terminal 21 Mall
Last time I visited Terminal 21 was back in 2014. This mall is an airport-themed mall with alleys named after famous world capitals. It's conveniently located at the Asok BTS train station and one of Bangkok's upscale mall with 9 floors of 665 retail stores full of globally recognizable brands and some local brands alike. It also has cinemas, a gourmet market and a supermarket. Its 36m escalators are the longest in Thailand!
Ending Thoughts
Malls are malls - they all look alike almost in every country - same brands, but maybe a little different in format and layout. What I like about Terminal 21 is that they made an effort to be unique by putting a theme. It also helps that it's by the train station. In Bangkok, no matter how luxurious or upscale the mall is, you can still go to the Food Court and get yourself a decent meal for Baht 30 (or less!) - Terminal 21 is not an exception. Malling in Bangkok is as good as it gets in Southeast Asia.
