(Nov 2024) A.I. has introduced a new and fun way of learning for me. I might be curious about something and ask AI. It will give me an answer. But answers bring new questions with them. I can then drill down and ask more questions. I can almost infinitely drill down until I get exhausted. Or I stop when it stops becoming fun. In the process, because the questions I ask are all compelling for me, I am totally engaged, I feel satiated having had my curiosity quenched, and I even retain the information. I don't think I've ever had this much fun learning.

Before AI, I might have a question that might take a few hours or days of research to get my answers or most of the time, the answer is simply not available - the golden opportunity is gone.

At my age of 65, when others my age consider themselves too old to be learning new things out there, I can wake up in the morning feeling excited about what I'll learn for the day. A new day brings promise of learning something new, allowing me to have a greater appreciation of the world around me...and the role I play in it.

(2015) I believe that a person who stops learning starts getting old - and the dying process begins. A person who is always hungry for knowledge, new experience, and remains curious about what's out there, well, they stay forever young. This is what this section is all about.
