Deepening Practice
Joanna has come a long way from 3 years back when we last talked as she was then immersing herself into yoga. Now a RYT-200 with a core following, she teaches with conviction and passion, always in pursuit of deeper understanding. I was lucky to have attended her class.

Coffee Conversation
Having been introduced to her by a common friend from Cebu - Jeanne Torrefranca, Joanna and I found common ground in our devotion to the practice. We candidly talk about the challenges and the bumps along the way. We trade anecdotes on how our yoga has transcended the mat and into a way of life. Her fierce independence and candor have always been engaging.
Ending Thoughts
Grounded in established traditions but giving herself the liberty to evolve her yoga, I would like to have another coffee conversation with her in a few years and discuss the same questions. I would be in eager anticipation on how the answers themselves would have evolved.
