Business Class
Ginny found a way for me to join her in Business Class on the flight from Kuala Lumpur to Manila. It's amazing how she pulls rabbits out of a hat. The seats were wider, more comfortable, and the flight attendant more attractive.

The Dutch Blonde
I had to introduce myself to Mirien, a stunning Dutch blonde who was the stewardess for the flight. We carried on a brief chat. Hopefully, she emails me and we can pick up the conversation where we left off (she never did).

Manila
Our plane landed in Manila on schedule. Dad was there to pick us up together with Ginny's son Blue and his wife, Grem. That's where Ginny and I parted ways.

Greenbelt 3
That evening, before I could even rest my travel-fatigued body, I found myself at the hottest place in town - Greenbelt 3. It had bars, restaurants and dance clubs - high zoot with all the attitude. It was a place to see and be seen.

Different Place, Different Shit
As usual, I socialized unmindful of how things are customarily done there. It's not usual for a guy to just approach a girl and talk. You usually find a common friend who'll make the introduction. Anyway, I talked to this lady and suddenly, her guy-friends surrounded me (manacingly). It had "FIGHT" written all over it. But I was beyond that. I didn't go there looking for a fight. Besides, the peeps I went there with were the country's best jiu-jitsu combatants. Chilled, I talked to them and we later on shook hands...no fuss, no blood.

When in Rome...
I was just reminded I was no longer in North America...things are done differently here.
