June 25, 2009, I was leisurely working on my laptop when I received an email from a certain Rolando M. Fuertes Jr., Editor of a publication, Bayang Magiliw Magazine, that is domiciled in the Kingdom of Bahrain. In his words, "While surfing the internet, I came across your website (thelonerider) and enjoyed reading your interesting travel articles and looking at those wonderful photos. In view of this, we would like to invite you to become our guest travel writer for the third issue of Bayang Magiliw, our newly launched English-Filipino magazine.". Of course I said yes.

(Feb 25, 2014) Great blog, lovely! I'll pass it on to my friends. I was just reading this mag's edition a while back. My group kasi is actually planning to launch another Philippine tourism mag later this year just like Bayang Magiliw, but of course with a different title. Marami na kasing OFWs na nagpu-push sa amin na maglabas uli ng mag. We are keeping our fingers crossed na mag-materialze. Keep in touch. I hope to see you one day.
