January 8, 2003 Wednesday Jun's Baby My colleague, Jun (she's a she) gave a c-section birth to a healthy boy, her first born. Prior to her leave, there was an ongoing pool in the office on date of birth. $10 per head. Winner takes half, the other half goes to Jun. When news about the birth was announced in the office, the first and overwhelming question was: Who won the pool? Everybody started asking everybody what their chosen date was, others started asking how much was in the pool, still, others wanted to know who had the money. Hmmm....I wonder how mother and child are doing.
