September 24, 2002 Tuesday Workout Morning: 20 minutes of cardio. Afternoon: Yoga. It was so relaxing I didn't wake up until the class was over and the lights were back. I only hope I wasn't snoring all that time. Negativity Negativity is like a thief in the night. It's there, doing its damage and you're not even aware until you realize what's lost or been taken. I've long struggled with this and have trekked the full range of the positive - negative spectrum. The choice is really yours. What I find essential is being aware when the negativity starts creeping. When nipped at the bud, it won't survive long and goes away. However, the struggle continues. Walking Home with my Kids One thing I enjoy giving up my 1 hour lunch break for is picking my 2 kids from the nearby school and walking back with them to their house. Those 15 minutes of solid conversation are golden...better than an entire day spent with them at home when all they do is watch tv and play on the computer. Monica My cousin's wife is visiting the Philippines and kind enough to accommodate some stuff I'm sending for my Dad. I went to her place to help her pack and load up the 2 70-lb luggage to her suv. I hope she gets a safe and pleasant trip.
