Workout
Morning: 20 minute cardio. Afternoon: Biceps, triceps, lower back
Trifina
Trifina and I planned on having coffee after the French class but later decided to have
dinner instead at Asian Legend. Conversation was engaging, elucidating more on the topics briefly touched on the last time we had coffee. We followed that with bubble tea at a nearby teahouse. She was kind enough to give me a lift home since I wasn't in the mood to be riding my bike home - not on a full stomach. Considering she's a photography student too, I showed her my array of Minolta SLR which I haven't touched in months since I've gone digital. She took amusement from it and
took shots from my balcony. I can't wait to get the pictures developed and printed...hmmm....developed and printed...what a throw-back to a bygone era in this digital age.
While it could have been just a casual eat for her, to me, it was trading off an evening of writing, reading and site update for a conversation with a living, breathing human being - not email, not text messaging and not an online chat. For a web designer like me who lives on the web where everything is virtual, a live chat with a person across the table is priceless.
