June 8, 2002 Saturday Touching Base It's been a good 2 months since I last hooked up with Carrie and it was high time to touch base again. Given her hectic schedule, I'm glad she found time to meet me for lunch. We talked about the animated Chapters characters and what's happened since. When it rains it pours. John, a good friend I haven't seen in a while
stopped in for breakfast to get his bike back. I miss the days when we used to ride the trails of the Rouge together...when he wiped out for the first time and was elated considering it to be his baptismal rite of passage into the sport. Well, being the Dad certainly changed his life around. I hope we get to ride the trails again. As TheLoneRider, I'm always in search of people who can ride the trails with me.
