August 26, 2002 Monday Bike Shop Round I did my rounds on the bike shops at the Yonge/Eglinton area after seeing my dentist - SportSwap, Cyclepath and Sporting Life. Looks like it'll cost me a minimum of $50 to get my fork rebuilt. A small price to get peace of mind while doing technical singletrack. From a distance I saw Carrie, a former chapter's colleague, waiting on a street corner for a friend. We chat. That was a pleasant diversion. Epicurian Small Talk I went inside Indigo Book Store to check out some stuff. While doing my rounds in the food book section, I chanced on seeing this lady browsing the Italy Culinaria. I already have the European Culinaria book and I think it's the best epicurian book I have. I got into small talk with her...Alesandra. Later, her friend Kristine joined us. The three of us were eventually talking about good food, travel and wine. Wow...a connection was happening there. I gave them my TheLoneRider card and hopefully, an epicurian adventure develops with that. I went back to the office and worked on the Hardwood Hills story until 11:30 and went home to do more work on it. I finally finished and pushed it live at 1:30AM. --- TheLoneRider Comments?
