I barely arrived in Dumaguete coming from snorkeling in Apo Island with Amanda Ackiss when Ryan and Toto of the Dumaguete mountaineering org, Cuernos de Negros who were on their way to Balanan Lake to oversee the installation of a zipline they were constructing for the municipality, invited me to come along. Before I knew it, I was already on the back of a pick-up truck en route to Siaton.
