August 2011 BlogsSunrise Dive with Katherine Cure at Apo Island (Aug 21, 2006) Early the following day, I joined Katherine on a sunrise dive to watch Lion fish behavior at the break of light. Apparently, fish behavior vary radically at dusk. It's feeding time and the otherwise melancholy fish becomes Attila the Hun in search of blood. Early morning crowd could pile-in, spanning a broad social spectrum - from the laborer to the town mayor . It's a local social hub where gossip could go viral ...more »» The Harolds Mansion Experience (Jul 31 - Aug 21, 2011) When I got kicked-out of Valencia, I was left frantically looking for a new home. I did find one, but it won't be available until 3 weeks after. Luckily, there was Harolds Mansion that became home for the next 3 weeks. Given the 16 months I had been here in Dumaguete/Valencia, I would have to say the happiest I'd been was in those 3 weeks. Lesson? Careful what you wish for...you might actually get it!...more »» «« back to July 2011 | forward to September 2011 »» |
