7 Months in Negros Oriental - 3 Days Later
*** this article is a continuation of the 7 Months in Negros Oriental - Swallowing Hard
3 Days Later 3 days after that rude awakening, I've recovered. In hindsight, I thought I got it all figured out. I pursued my Aha Moments with passion and full attention to details. I PERT-CPMed my thinking process as far as I could take it. I thought I'd be on my way to life on Easy Street. Ka-ching! at deafening levels with every passing day. It's embarrassing to admit, but my thinking-through already took me as far as Lamborghini in Monte Carlo (blush!). But when the market remained unmoved, my dream came down like a house of cards. I was going through my initial shock as I wrote the Swallowing Hard article. I received a higher-than-usual reaction from concerned friends who came out of the woodwork - mwah! Thank you. You guys rock!
The Market I'm realizing that it's a very fine line to get the market responding with what you're putting on the table relative to what they have to fork out. There are so many variables at play - the economy, the industry, the politics, cash flow, personalities, technological awareness, etc. Anyone naturally gifted with that instinctive bearing has the Midas Touch.
The Flow Did I ever question the Flow? No. Never. I was puzzled more than anything else. I questioned what I missed. And if nothing immediate comes out of it, this 'setback' can only be part of an esoteric process that need to happen for certain things to take place. I'd been on the block too long. I don't see setbacks. I see repeating patterns in life in full compliance to the natural laws.
What's Next What now? Like the certainty of sunshine in the morning, I had my morning Aha Moment again, dutifully blazing what was an obscure path for me - this time refining what I thought was a state-of-the-art business model. Without my Aha Moments, I'd be clueless - thank this benevolent universe for them. And like a good worker, I've already rolled up my sleeves to get the job going. This wealth building process turns out to be more exciting than I originally thought. Life threw me another curve ball. I like that.
