snowboarding

Unlike skiing, snowboarding has a steep learning curve. Even veteran skiers take a good beating before they manage. Given the very few times I've gone snowboarding, I've only gotten around to 'almost' linking my turns...then I wipe out, jamming my hands on pack snow or landing on my butt. Yeah, it hurts...but oh, what a rush!
