Packed Trail Riding at Marlboro Country
Fun Fun Fun This is by far the funnest ride to Marlboro Country. The past few days of sunshine did wonders on the red soft clay. It's now hard packed. What used to be a portage going up on the new road is now a granny creeper - but rideable. The clearing we did have dried up revealing more of the trail - sweet!
Hardcore With just the hardcore riders this time - Steve, Joey and Aklay, it was a faster pace with lesser and shorter stops. The pit stop would leave me catching my breath...darn, I forgot my water!
More Fun Fun Fun Riding back is getting even sweeter. Since we're now getting familiar with the trail system as it takes us downhill, we added more speed along its technical sections and even bombed down the road trail. Marlboro Country is definitely flavor-of-the-month.
