boarding the jeep bound for Balbalan. At first, the jeep was full, the only space for me was
on top of these 2 tires. It was
wobbly with amplified sways. It was scary specially when the jeep banks and the top tilts to the ravine-side. I wouldn't see the road shoulder anymore, and instead, I'd see the ravine righ beneath me. That experience is perhaps the
most memorable in my entire Cordillera backpacking. As soon as space was available, I got off the 2 tires and took the spot next to the
squealing pig and right behind the
tightly cooped chickens.
